FOR THE MOMENT AND FOR THE RECORD

The sound installation "For the Moment and for the Record" is based on the concept of constructing an interaction between two bodies. It features two bodies that require their physical presence to demonstrate their properties. When the pendulum swings, it brushes against the strings of the electric guitar, creating touches and generating sounds that are sent back to the pendulum via an Arduino. The frequencies of the amplified guitar keep the pendulum swinging. By converting the analog guitar signal into a digital signal through the use of an Arduino, a self-sustaining circuit is created.
